but, take it form someone that has a lengthy history with insurance adjusters. In your situation you never let the insurance adjuster look at the car before a body shop. Or better yet have the car brought over to whatever shop you choose and have the adjuster look at it there with the body shop service writer. Usually insurance adjusters go by what they visually see, where a body shop service writer looks at what is involved in the repair, i.e. anything behind the exterior panels.
